Starting your application or request
To get started on a permit or license application, a request, or any other submission, you must find the link on your government's website first.
Select the appropriate link, and you'll land on a page that looks something like this.
Select the Start button to go to the first step of the submission.
Note: As you scroll down the page, the Start button will persist, so you can review all the steps and not have to scroll back up to begin.
On this page, you can also see all the steps of the submission. For each step, you can see:
- what type of activity it is
- whose responsibility it is.
For example, a form or payment that you would complete, or a review that a government employee would conduct. If the step is your responsibility, it'll be in bold and say Your responsibility in the Responsibility section. The government organization that created the form will complete the other steps.
Creating your ClearForms login
Once you select the Start button you'll create an account or login to ClearForms. Creating an account allows you to access your applications at any time. All that's required for a ClearForms account is that you add your email and set up a password. It only takes a few seconds to create an account!
Note:
- After you create an account and start one or more submissions, you'll be able to sign back into https://go.citygrows.com anytime to check on the status of any application, license, or permit you've filed.
- Provided you sign in with the same email, you can access all the ClearForms submissions you've started in one place.
- In the event you forget your password, you can always select the Forgot password link on the login page. Instructions on how to reset your password will be sent to the email in our system.
Now that you have created a login, you’ll proceed to the first step in the submission.
Signing an application
Some forms or submissions will require you to sign your name before submitting and moving on to the next step.
When prompted for a signature, type your name into the Name field, then select Sign and your signature will appear. Lastly, select Submit.
