The Capital Project Tracker is completed (well at least for the moment) and you are ready to publish and publicize your projects… What do you do next?
Once they are made available to the public, you and your constituents can view the Capital Project Tracking project pages on the web.
Sharing directly from Capital Project Tracking
If you do not have a subscription to ClearGov's Transparency module, or don't anticipating using your Transparency site to share your projects from Capital Project Tracking, all you need to do to share your projects publicly is the following:
From any tab in Capital Project Tracking, select the View Public Site link in the upper right corner of the page.
From the public site, copy the website address, or URL, from the address bar at the top of the browser window. You can send this link to individuals directly or use it to create a hyperlink on your organization's website or blog to link directly to your projects.
Enabling Projects in Transparency
If you have a subscription to ClearGov's Transparency module, you'll need to take a few extra steps.
To enable the website for your Capital Project Tracker project pages, navigate to Transparency and select the Projects button.
Then, select Settings. Under the Project Page Data Source, select the radio button to the left of Capital Project Tracking. Select the Capital Project Tracker you’d like to use, and Save.
Now you’ll see a list of Projects from the Capital Project Tracker in the Transparency Projects page, but any additional changes need to be made to those Projects will need to be done from inside the Capital Project Tracker.
