All financial data is mapped to a set of categories so it can be used on ClearGov's platform. There are two different category sets - ClearGov Categories and Native Categories.
- ClearGov categories are standardized, allowing data from one organization to be compared with data from other organizations. This results in an apples-to-apples comparison, enabling peer analysis to be displayed in your Transparency Center.
- Native categories are custom and defined by you. This customization allows you to display your financial data in a consistent format with what your constituents are used to seeing.
