The Digital Budget Book application includes a checklist based on the GFOA's Detailed Criteria Location Guide for the Distinguished Budget Presentation Awards Program and ASBO Meritorious Budget Award. We recommend you use the provided checklist to keep track of the status of each item as you build your book. Your goal is to have a checkmark next to each item.
You’ll see the Criteria Sections & Completion list on the left-hand side of the checklist. Here you’ll be able to see the percentage of completion for each section, to the right of that you can navigate to the Section Checklists. In the section checklist, select the checkbox for each completed item and leave optional notes on an item.
