Issue:
When a new fund is added properly, it should automatically reflect in all relevant statements. If the new fund does not appear, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Check the General Relationship Between the Dataset and the Cube to ensure the relationship between the dataset and the cube has been established correctly.
- Go to the respective Hypercube.
-
Navigate to Global Rules.
2. In the Global Rules section of the respective Hypercube, click to re-run the global rules.
- Check if the new fund now appears in mapping.
-
3. Verify the Reporting Fund Code
-
If the new fund still does not appear, compare the reporting fund code in the MDFM dimensions with the reporting fund code in the fund mapping file within the Administration folder in the report tree.
-
Action:
- If there is a difference (including any extra white spaces), correct the reporting fund code either in the MDFM dimensions or the fund mapping file.
- If there is a difference (including any extra white spaces), correct the reporting fund code either in the MDFM dimensions or the fund mapping file.
If Changes Were Made in MDFM Dimensions
- After correcting the reporting fund code in MDFM dimensions, go to the respective Hypercube and navigate back to Global Rules.
-
Action: Re-run the Global Rules to ensure the relationship between the dataset and the cube has been established correctly.
If Changes Were Made in the Fund Mapping File
- If the reporting fund code was corrected in the fund mapping file, go to Data Integration Service and re-run the service to ensure the new fund is properly integrated into the system.
