Data Variables are pieces of information that can be created in one document and used in another.
A Data Variable can be a single piece of data or range of data (such as a number in a table or a whole table itself); It can be a word, a string of words, or a whole paragraph (such as the current month, a company name, or a company policy).
The purpose of a data variable is to automate things, such as years or numbers in a text document so that in the future you do not need to manually enter the data again, saving time which is always valuable.
