Issue: After entering the mapping rule and running local rules, some rows still remain unmapped, even though the new local rules should have mapped them.
What to Do:
-
Check Dry Run of Rules:
- Go to Local Rules and select the rule that’s not giving the correct results.
- In the Matching Rows box (located below the rule), check if the expected rows are being captured.
If yes:
-
Check Rule Intersection:
-
Right-click on the Local Rule and select Show Intersection.
-
Ensure that the correct period is selected in the intersection. If the period is missing or incorrect, this could be the cause of the issue.
-
Fix Rule if Necessary:
-
If the period is not selected in the intersection, delete the existing rule.
-
Create a new rule, ensuring that the intersection includes both the Statement Line and the Period.
-
-
Re-run Local Rules: After adjusting or recreating the rule, run the local rules again to apply the changes.
- Verify the Mapping: Check if the rows that were previously unmapped are now properly linked to the correct statement line and period.
-
-
Refresh Imports:
- Once the mapping is corrected, go to Pivot > Right-click > Refresh Imports to update the imports and verify the numbers.
