Issue: Unmapped accounts may appear in some cubes when mapping rules fail to capture certain rows. This can happen for several reasons:
- New Accounts: New accounts may appear in the current year.
- Rule Exceptions: The existing mapping rules might have exceptions that prevent proper mapping.
What to Do:
-
Identify the Correct Line for Unmapped Rows:
- Decide to which line the unmapped rows should be included.
-
Correct the Mapping:
- Select the appropriate intersection (Statement Line, Period).
-
Open the Local Rules tab.
- Either:
- Correct the existing rule, or
- Add a new rule to ensure the unmapped accounts are properly mapped.
-
Run Local Rules:
-
After adjusting the rule, run the local rules to apply the changes.
-
-
Verify the Fix:
- Check if the unmapped rows have been linked to the correct line and if the unmapped box no longer contains any rows.
-
Perform Roll Up:
-
Go to Pivot > Right-click on the Pivot and select Roll Up.
-
-
Refresh Imports:
-
Go to Pivot > Right-click > Refresh Imports to reflect the updated mappings in statements.
