This document outlines the key report section page types available in Disclosure Studio and details their structure and locked fields to help users effectively build and format consistent, on-brand reports.
General Information about Report Sections
- A report’s section can have multiple pages within a report, but the page type will remain the same for the section. If you need a different page type, create a new section in the report.
- Report sections will always have locked content blocks that contribute to the templated layout. If you are utilizing a Note or Content page, you are able to add additional content blocks.
- Tip: Use Report Variables in locked content blocks to only need to change one variable to affect multiple pages for items like Entity, Fiscal information, etc.
- Section layouts are determined by the selection of a Theme for your report. You can change the layout of the section at any time, but switching the layout after creation may cause some fields to be reset.
- Tip: For landscape orientation, select a layout with “landscape” in the name. Only Content, PDF and Note page types can be changed to a landscape orientation.
