Note: Contributors can co-contribute to the same accounts and itemizations.
Assigning Accounts to Contributors
- In your budget, select the Collaborators tab and the Account Assignment tab.
- Filter the Chart of Accounts table. Try creating Row Groups, grouping columns together, by dragging and dropping column headers to the top left corner of the table.
- Select the accounts that you want to assign to a user(s).
- Select the Assign Accounts icon.
- Optionally, select the Export icon to export the entire Chart of Accounts table to Excel.
-
After selecting the Account Assignments icon, assign Contributors by selecting the user(s).
- Note: If the user you are looking for is not on the list, an Admin user must first add the user to User Management.
- Edit the permissions of each user as needed. For more information on Contributor Permissions, please see this article.
Inviting Contributors by Email
Select the Assigned Collaborators under the Collaborators tab in your fiscal year operational budget.

- Select the Invite icon.
- Add any additional messaging, set Request Deadlines, and Reminder Frequencies.
- Select the Save button to email contributors.
Note: Following the above steps, you can resend an invitation email to any contributor in an open request round! You can even send a mix of new invitations and re-sent invitations!
