Dynamic Figures are embedded live financial statistics inserted directly into document narratives and financial statements. When underlying budget data changes, these figures adjust automatically, ensuring accuracy and real-time relevance.
You can include Dynamic Figures throughout a document to automate your financial narratives by referencing automated values, such as Actual or Budgeted figures for current or prior years.
To include a Dynamic Figure in your document, enter a Text Editor content block.
- In the text box content block, place your cursor where you want the Dynamic Figure to display.
- Select the Dynamic Figure icon
in the Text Editor menu. The Dynamic Figure icon is a green dollar sign with a box around it.

Select your desired Input Method, such as Account Mapping, Dimension Grouping, or Manual Entry.
- Each input method option provides different parameters for selecting and displaying your financial data.

- After selecting the parameters for the Dynamic Figure, verify that the Amount/Value is correct, then select Save & Insert Dynamic Figure to add it to your narrative.
