Now that you have created your budget book, it’s time to add dynamic financial pages. Financial pages pull together the data you have onboarded or entered in the Operational Budgeting module to present charts and tables that illustrate your budget clearly.
Financial Pages must be created to assess, view, and edit charts, financial schedule tables, and more.
From the Table of Contents, select the + Add Page button. In the Add Page Template screen, choose the Financial Pages tab.
- Once you have chosen to add a page, select the Financial Pages tab.
-
Choose the Type of financial page you want to create. Fund pages will include both revenue and expenditures and will display this data by other dimensions you and the data team have decided upon. All other type choices will be displayed based on the dimensions you have decided on.
Note: Dimensions are categories or levels of displayed data that are meant to replicate your preferred chart of accounts from your financial system. - Select the Placement of the new pages in the structure of your budget book.
-
Next, enter a Page Name and select your funds or other dimensions options depending on what you selected in the Type option.
- If you create more than one page, you can reorder them in the pages table before selecting the Add Pages button.
- Pro Tip: If creating fund pages, utilize the Automate Fund Page Creation button. You can add funds by primary fund group, fund category pages, or individual fund pages.
- If you choose a different dimension, such as a department, you will select the Expenditures and/or Revenue department and corresponding funds.
- Select the Add Page(s) button to create the new financial pages.
