When you clone a statement, you need to bulk update versions of your dynamic figures. Or you realized you needed to update a few dynamic figures because you wanted to make changes to them dynamic figures.
Note: A Version refers to any referenceable data within the ClearGov products. Versions are data sets that indicate the specific stage within the budget cycle for your actuals or budgeted data. Our system can accommodate as many versions of budgeted and actual data as your organization needs. Examples may include YTD Actuals, Approved, Amended, etc. Versions are created from either onboarded data or from the Operational Budget module.
Update Dynamic Figures
- After locating and opening the statement you want to update the dynamic figures for, select the Statement Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Next, select the Dynamic Figures tab.

You will see three sub-tabs that show the dynamic figures version:

Account-Based Figures - This option will allow you to update versions to dynamic figures from an alternative financial year and has the input methods of account mapping or dimension grouping.
- From the Statement Setting screen in the Dynamic Figures tab, select the Account Based Figures sub-tab.
- Then, check the boxes next to the figures whose versions you want to update.
- Next, select the Change Version button. Note: The Change Version button is only available for the account-based Figures.
- Select the New Version from the dropdown and select the Change Versions button.

Account-Based Figures - This option will allow you to update versions to dynamic figures from an alternative financial year and has the input methods of account mapping or dimension grouping.
- Pro Tip: If you need to edit account-based figures details, select the Action (three dots) icon and select the View Details button to be able to edit and view details on the dynamic figure.
- Manual Entries - allows you to update financial figures that you had manually entered into the dynamic figure.

- From the Statement Setting screen in the Dynamic Figures tab, select the Manual Entry sub-tab.
- Then select the Action (three dots) icon and select the View Details link.
- Now choose the Edit Dynamic Figures icon. Now you can make any changes you need and save, and insert the newly updated manual entry. Note: Updating this way will update the manual entry in all reports that it exists within.

Formulas - allows you to update formulas that you had created based on at least two dynamic figures.
- From the Statement Setting screen in the Dynamic Figures tab, select the Formulas sub-tab.
- Then select the Action (three dots) icon and select the View Details link.
- Now choose the Edit Dynamic Figures icon. Now you can make any changes you need and save, and insert the newly updated dynamic formula. Note: Updating this way will update the dynamic formula in all reports in which it exists.
