Plan page templates are pre-formatted templates of blocks on a page made specifically for your Strategic Planning document. Note: Most plan pages will automatically be added to your Strategic Planning document!
- To add a Plan Page select Add Page and choose Plan Pages.
- Select a page template that will best present your content. Don’t worry if the template is missing a block or two, you can add additional blocks as needed.
- Then, enter a unique page name.
- Select the placement for the new page. Note: If you do not specify a specific placement, the page will appear at the bottom of your document structure and you can drag and drop it into the desired position.
- Select the Add Pages button to create the cover page.
There are several available Plan Template Pages:
- Introduction Letter - Introduces:
- The organization
- Explain the purpose of the plan
- Provide a brief overview of the plan and its goals and benefits
- Outline the next steps for feedback and involvement
- Planning Process - Explain the process your organization went through to plan your strategic goals by providing an explanation of steps, goals, timeline, strategies, benefits, stakeholder involvement, and feedback opportunities.
- City Council - Introduce the city council members by name and their roles.
- Provide a brief overview of the Council’s purpose and mission and emphasize the importance of the Council’s role in the community.
- Explain how the council works with the local stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for the community.
- Thank the members for their service and commitment to the community.
- Encourage residents and stakeholders to ask questions and provide feedback.
- Leadership Team - Introduce your planning and leadership team to stakeholders and residents to create a sense of trust and understanding between the team and the community.
- Vision, Mission, & Values - Provide a clear, concise statement of your organization's mission, vision, and goals so you can focus your efforts and resources on those specific outcomes. It also ensures that everyone involved in the organization is working towards the same goals and that all decisions are made with the same objectives in mind.
- SWOT Analysis - Identify your agency’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats utilizing the preformatted page. Note: Add additional blocks to incorporate more narratives, images, or charts to your SWOT analysis page.
