There are three ways to share your document with the public:
- Viewing Contents from the document URL
- Printing a PDF
- Share the document digitally with constituents, council members, etc.
View Contents by Document URL
- From the document webpage, you can navigate to the Contents tab of your document.
- Select the link to the page to view that page of the document.
- Drill into the detail pages of a section by selecting the arrow. Then select a page you wish to view in the document.
- Collapse the navigation menu by selecting the Menu icon.
Printing a PDF
Frequently, constituents and others will desire to print or save a PDF version of a document. The whole document or select pages can be emailed and printed.
- Select the PDF button.
- Select whether to Include all pages or Select specific pages. Then enter an Email Address and select the Create PDF button.
There are a couple of more steps to do if you choose Select specific pages.
- Select the pages you want your custom PDF to contain. In some Pro Tip: Utilize the Expand All Sections toggle to expand the page tree automatically.
- Utilize the Preview Page under the Action icon to view a page that you may want to include in your PDF.
- Now select the Create Custom PDF button to email the custom PDF to the email address you entered in the previous screen.
Note: If we detect that your PDF has blank pages, we will alert you before you download the PDF. You will see a section under the Page Selection options noting Blank Pages Detected and allowing you to Exclude or Include the blank pages.
Share your Document with Others
From the Share tab, you can provide constituents, council members, etc., with a link to the document by selecting the Copy Link icon or selecting the Email link to email others the document or share via Facebook or X.
Note: In Settings in the Public Website Presentation sub-tab of your document, you can control whether you want to display the share tab.
