When creating a Custom Report in Capital Budgeting, you will always start with a Standard Report.
There are two ways to create a Custom Report. Select each option below to navigate directly to that section.
Clone a Standard Report
- From the Reports tab, click the three dots of the Standard Report you wish to clone.
- Select Clone
- Within the pop-up Copy Report modal, give your report a new name and select Save.
Save a Custom Report
When you open any Standard Report, you will see a greyed-out Save Custom Report option in the upper right-hand corner.
As soon as you make changes to the report (add a column, change the Budget View, etc.) the Save Custom Report option will become blue and now available for use.
Note: Cloning and Saving a Custom Report is not available for the One-Page Presentation Report due to the nature of the report.
Edit a Standard Report to Customize it
After opening a standard report or cloning, you can make changes to the report to customize it.
Within a Standard Report:
- Select the Scenario and Version of a Scenario to point to the correct source of data.
- Select the appropriate Rounding Format for your data.
- Select Columns to Add or Remove Columns in your report.
- Select any hamburger icon (three lines) to filter and organize the columns within your Report.
Pro Tip: You can drag and drop columns in any order within the report or the Columns menu.
