What is ClearGov Showcase?

ClearGov’s Budget Book Showcase lets you browse a library of published budget books from other communities that use ClearGov, giving you instant access to inspiration, best practices, and innovative ideas from your peers.

This is especially helpful for clients creating their budget book in ClearGov for the first time, who want to check out other examples. Easily filter books by state or organization type, such as cities or schools, or search by organization name to find relevant examples.

What Information is Available in each Budget Book?

The information available in each Budget Book depends on the organization’s unique page configuration and strategic page hiding decisions. Users can create custom pages with their own inserted custom charts and spreadsheets, to name a few examples. They also might choose to hide auto-generated pages or sections.

The Budget Book Showcase tool is designed for you to review similar Budget Books and get inspiration for how you want to develop your own book, but each Budget Book is uniquely its own.

Note: Note that it is possible these Budget Books are not up to current ADA Compliance or GFOA Requirement standards. We recommend reviewing the GFOA Checklist Resources provided below to make sure your Budget Book has award-winning potential.

Which Books are Available in the Budget Book Showcase?

ClearGov Budget Books that are both available to the public and the URL link is published on the organization’s website have been authorized to share in the Budget Book Showcase.
