- Use this article for: exporting an revenue and expense line item detail report to provide to the Data Onboarding team.
- After reading this article, you should be able to: Export data from Tyler Infinite Visions with the required fields/columns to supply the Data Onboarding team with the needed data for the onboarding process.
Notes:
- The Revenue and Expense Line Item Detail and your Chart of Accounts/Segments reports both need to be exported in each of the appropriate fiscal year databases.
- Some Tyler Infinite Visions clients may have different system functionalities. If these instructions do not apply to your system, your Senior Data Advisors can collaborate with you to identify an alternative report that meets your needs.
Revenue and Expense Line Item Detail Report
- Navigate to General Ledger>Transaction History>Account Detail.
- From the Account Type Filter, select Custom.
- Select the Revenue and Expense account types and choose Apply Selection.
Note: To omit inactive accounts, select Exclude Inactive Accounts first, then choose to apply the selection.
- Right-click anywhere in the grid to bring up an options menu. Select Export to Excel.
- In Excel:
- Delete extraneous columns.
- Insert a column at the far left and fill with the appropriate year.
- Save your file.
