Use this article to: customize the typography, color, and font for your website.

Navigate to Style Settings
To begin customizing your site’s appearance:
- In the left-hand navigation bar, select Settings to edit your website.
- Select the Style Settings.
Note: Changes made in Style Settings apply across your entire site
Update Color Themes
The Color Themes section allows you to control the visual identity of your site by adjusting key colors.
You can customize:
- Primary and secondary brand colors
- Text colors (headings, body text, links)
- Background colors for sections and widgets
- Button and call-to-action colors
How to Update Colors:
- In the left-hand navigation bar, select Settings to edit your website.
- Select the Style Settings.
- Locate the Color Themes section to select the color field you want to update, and enter a hex code or use the color picker by selecting the colored square.
- Click Save Changes
Pro Tips:
- Use your organization’s official brand colors for consistency
- Ensure a strong contrast between text and background for accessibility
- Keep your palette simple (2–4 primary colors work best)
Update Site Font
If you are signed in as an Admin user in ClearGov, you will be able to make changes to your organization's font, which controls how text appears across your Engagement Website:
- Heading styles (size, weight)
- Body text appearance
- Link styling
How to Update Site Font:
- Locate the Site Font section and select a font from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Save button.
Preview and Test Your Changes
After making updates in Style Settings:
- Review your site in preview mode
- Check both desktop and mobile views
- Ensure readability and consistency across all pages
