The request manager is where you’ll perform most of the tasks related to your Capital Budget, no matter your user type. However, depending on your User Type, your view may differ. Select your User Type to Navigate directly to your view.
Note: You can select any request from the Request Manager tab to view it with greater detail.
Editors
- The top of the Request Manager Table shows a progress bar presenting the Requesters’ progress.. Select view status to confirm which requesters have submitted requests.

Select a check box next to one or multiple requests. After selecting, utilize any of the features in the toolbar at the top.

Bulk Actions menu
- Update Status to change the Status of the Request. For additional information on statuses, see our training & support article: Capital Budgeting - Capital Request Statuses
- Request Owner Change to change the Owner of the Capital Request to an existing Contributor.
- Lock or unlock that Capital Request
- Select Send to Project to push the capital request to the Transparency Projects page.
- Select Archive to archive a capital request. After a request has been archived, there will be a toggle to view Archived Requests. Archived requests can be restored or deleted.
- Select Export after selecting one or many requests to download an excel spreadsheet of the Request table.
- Customize Columns will open a new menu with available column options.
- Select Invite Contributors to quickly jump to the Contributors tab of Capital Budgeting to add, review, or invite new Collaborators.
- Select Maximize to maximize the Request Table.

- Drag and Drop columns from the Request Manager table into the Drag here to set Row Groups bar at the top of the table. Establishing row groups in the Request Manager table will sort and organize your capital requests.

Next to any capital request on the far right side, select the three dots action icon to open a menu with more options.
- Edit the capital request
- Update Status to change the Status of the Request. For additional information on statuses, see our training & support article: Capital Budgeting - Capital Request Statuses
- Lock or Unlock that capital request
- Add a comment. Contributors and editors are notified via email of new conversations.
- Create a project from the request to send the Request to Transparency.
- Archive the request. After a request has been archived, there will be a toggle to view Archived Requests. Archived requests can be restored or deleted.
Contributors
- Start a New Capital Request and select the Request Form to add in your details.

- Edit the capital request
- Update Status to change the Status of the Request.
- Clone a request to make small changes if a request is of similar nature.
- Add a comment. Contributors and editors are notified via email of new conversations.

The Request Title column displays the names of all requests. Filter by request title or select the name of individual requests to review the request details.
- Individual Requests - Select the name of the request. This will bring you to the Request Detail Page. Review the details of the request here! The requests will start with an Overview, Description, and Details. As you keep scrolling down the page you’ll be able to review Charts and Spreadsheet Breakdowns.
- Drag Columns to the top where it says “Drag Here to Set Row Groups” to organize all Rows of your Request Manager Table. The Reset View button will clear all Row Groups and Filters.

Columns will display financial information and additional information based on how you choose to customize your table. You can filter and sort each column to view your preferred requests. Select the Customize Column to customize the financial information and additional information.
- To add Financial Information, select Add custom column and choose the fiscal year, information, and version you would like to display.
- The Request Status column will display the current status of the Capital Request.
- To download a PDF or Excel of requests, select the boxes next to your preferred requests, then select the Bulk Actions, then the Export button.
- Utilize the Actions column to leave comments or attachments via the Conversation tool. Select the conversation bubble. Type in a comment or attach a file and select Save. Note: If a comment has been left the conversation bubble will display the number of comments on the chat bubble icon.
