This article is intended for: Contributors of the Capital Budgeting module.
Use this article after: Creating a Capital Request that you would like a team member to review.
Let’s go through the various statuses for Contributor use: In Progress, Review Requested, and Submitted.
In Progress
The status In Progress is the default status assigned to all new projects or requests. Requests will remain In Progress until the status is changed by a contributor.
Pro tip: If an editor decides to send back a request with the status Needs Revision, a contributor can change the status to In Progress to let the editor know they are working on it.
Review Requested
Team members (contributors who are on the same capital budgeting team) can request reviews for ongoing capital requests by selecting the Review Requested status. Capital requests can move back and forth between "In Progress" and "Review Requested" as many times as needed before submission.
Note: Setting this status will automatically email a notification to teammates, and they will see the request in their Request Manager table with the Review Requested status until it has been submitted.
Submit Request
The Submit Request status will send the request to the editors. After submission, the request will become locked, and can no longer be edited unless the editor sends it back.
