Note: Fields left blank are considered to have $0 values, which means you only need to enter values into relevant fields.
- Actuals Columns
- You can track both Historical Actuals and Estimated Actuals. Actuals are an optional field in the financial panels.
- Budgeted Columns
- Historical Budgeted- The historical column is to record already expensed monies that will not be included in the active years of this budget.
- Note: Historical columns can roll-up into future years selected when creating the new year's budget.
- Active Fiscal Years - Enter values for at least one active fiscal year of this budget.
- Future Budgeted- Enter any monies that will be expected in the future, beyond the years of the active Capital Budget.
- Historical Budgeted- The historical column is to record already expensed monies that will not be included in the active years of this budget.
If you are in your second year or more of Capital Budgeting with ClearGov, you can select the “Prior Year” button to view all previously submitted amounts.
Pro Tip: When filling out financial sections (Capital Costs, Funding Sources, etc.) of a Capital Request form, you can tab through the table between the fiscal years to speed up your data entry.
