You can update a request owner in three ways.
From the Request
The first way is to change the Request Owner of a submitted or imported capital request in the request itself. An Editor can edit the Capital Request in the drop-down on the far right, and select the name of the new request owner.
Note: There can only be one request owner per request. In order for their name to show up in the drop-down, they must be invited to this capital budget as a Contributor.
Bulk Update Request Owners from the Request Manager Table
Secondly, you can bulk update request owners right from the Request Manager Table.
- Select the checkbox next to the request you want to update the owner on.
- Select the Bulk Actions button and choose the Request Owner Change Option.
- In the popup tile select the user you want to replace the request owner with for the selected requests. Then select the Yes button to complete the request owner change.
Bulk Update Request Owners from an Import
Lastly, you can bulk update the Request Owner for multiple Capital Requests through the bulk-import feature.
- Download the template in the Update tab of the Request Manager Table. Select the Capital Requests you wish to update. The downloaded template will include those requests.
- Changing the e-mail address of the Contributor in the template will upload the request with the new owner.
- Note: E-mail addresses cannot contain hyperlinks. See our training & support article for more detailed instructions: Importing Capital Requests
