Use this article after: Editing a Capital Request attached to a Location.
Add a location to your Capital Request inside the Project Location panel if it is available in your form.
There are 4 methods of adding a location to a Capital Request:
- Enter a specific street address.

Drop a marker pin on the map.
Pro-Tip: Zoom in or out to find the exact location needed. - Draw a line. This could be great for highway or street projects.

Draw a polygon area covering the area of the Capital project. Instructions on using the draw tool are as follows:
- Using your mouse, select a location on the map for your first point.
- Drag and select the next location on the map.
- Continue adding as many points as you need.
- Either double-click at the last point, or return to your first point and select to complete the drawing.
- To edit a point, select the point and drag it to a new location.
- To move an entire shape, select it and drag.
- To delete the drawing, select the area and click the “Delete” button.
- After completing your drawing, you can leave Drawing Mode by clicking anywhere on the map outside of the shape you just created. This will return you to the default mode and display all the options previously available.
When you're ready, select Save Map to keep any changes.
