Use this article after: Starting a Capital Request Form in a Capital Budget.
Search for and select the appropriate account ID in the account ID box next to each Capital Cost, Funding Source, and/or Operational Cost. If all request values within a financial panel are allocated to the same Account ID, a default project Account ID can be set in the Capital Cost Account ID or Funding Source Account ID field.
- Click inside the Account ID box to open the Account ID search table.
- Search by typing into the search bar. This searches across all columns through the search box; for example, you can search the Account ID and Description fields at the same time.
- Use the Select button to confirm the Account ID.
Split Account IDs - You can split across multiple accounts by selecting the + plus icon to the right of the Account ID field.
You only have one specific account ID for the whole panel? You can choose to enter just one “Capital Costs Account ID” or “Funding Source Account ID” at the bottom of the table. Instead of selecting individual accounts, you can have just one account for all capital costs on this request.
