Invite an Outside User to join your ClearForms Team
Add an outside User to join your Team in ClearForms by adding them to a Role to join the Team and get started in ClearForms.
- Navigate to the Team you want to invite the User to.
- Navigate to the Roles Tab
- Add the User e-mail address to an existing Role, ie. Team Member, or Create a New Role.
- If the e-mail does not exist yet in the system it will send an invite e-mail. Type in the name of the User to send the invite. The User needs to accept the invitation e-mail to officially join the team.

How to Remove a User from ClearForms
To remove a User from your Team in ClearForms the User must be removed from a few different locations. To fully delete a Staff User from ClearForms, they must need to be removed from the Team, Roles, Steps and Submissions.
- Remove the User from all Teams
- Remove the User from all Roles
- Remove the User from all associated Submissions. Note: We recommend that for this part the User signs in and unassigns themselves from active submissions. See the section below for additional information.
The User unassigns themselves from all Submissions
We recommend that the User sign in and un-assign themselves from all Submissions. In the Form Submissions Tab they can quickly un-assign themselves from everything.
- Fillter by Assigned to Me
- Multi-select all Submissions
- Select Un-assign to remove themselves from those Submissions.
