Looking to promote your commitment to transparency? We recommend using a ClearGov-created banner image to allow constituents to visit your Transparency Center, budget book, and strategic plan.
Below, you will learn how to:
- Use banner images
- Request a banner
- Display a banner
Banner Images
You will be provided with 6 banners consisting of 3 different sizes and 2 color themes (dark and light). Banners will reflect your organization’s name, state, and default text such as Digital Budget Book, Transparency Center, or Strategic Plan.
Requesting a Banner
Simply reach out to your Implementation Manager or Client Success Manager. They will input a request for your banner package to be created for you to utilize on your website. We want to help all your hard work shine!
Once the request is fulfilled, the primary contact for your organization will receive an email with the banner images.
Displaying Your Banner
In terms of placement on your website, we recommend adding it to your Finance Department or dedicated Budget page as well as your homepage for visibility. Note: Make sure to link the banner to the URL of your Budget Book, Strategic Plan, or Financial Transparency page!
Once the banner is live on your website, we also recommend sharing it via a press release and on your social media platforms. This helps create public awareness and engagement. Your Implementation Manager or Client Success Manager can provide a press release template as well as suggested social media posts for you to customize and share.
