Configuring a subdomain web address allows you to create a private-branded version of your ClearGov profile.

Defining a Subdomain

If you prefer a branded website address (URL) for your ClearGov profile, we provide the ability to create a subdomain. The URL for the custom link will follow the format: http://subdomain.cleargov.com

• Log in to your ClearGov account.
• Select the Transparency module in the left navigation menu and then select the Subdomain tile.

• Enter your Subdomain name.
  • This is the website address where your custom ClearGov site will be found.
  • We recommend using "town name-state abbreviation" (e.g. boston-ma) and recommend that you do not change the address once it is entered.
• Select the Save button.
