Cover Pages serve as introductions to your reports and its sections. They can be used anywhere in the document.
You could use a Cover Page for each major section if desired, or just a Cover page at the beginning of the document.
Add a Cover Page
To add a Cover Page to your document:
- Select “Add Page” from above the Table of Contents in your report document
- Choose the “Covers” tab from the Add Page Template screen
- Select a Cover Page template
- Then enter a unique Page Name.
- Select the Save button to create the cover page.
Edit the Cover Page
Now that you have added a Cover Page, it’s time to make it your own. Choose a JPG, JPEG, or PNG file. For best results, make sure background images are at least 1000 pixels wide.
- Upload a background image
- Utilize the image cropping tool to resize the background image if necessary
- Edit the Cover title, subtitle, and the text style (size, color, bold, etc.)
Background images should be high-quality and have negative space to account for title readability
Don’t forget to set your Alt text field so screener readers and browsers can view it.
Select the Options dropdown menu on the right-hand side to use the Settings action to resize the image, Change Image, or Delete the image.
Note: Toggle on the Preview to view how the cover page will display on the website, mobile, or PDF.
Pro Tip: Templates with Background Images
If you choose a cover page template that allows for a background option, you can select Upload Background Image. (Note: images cannot exceed 15MB in file size)
