Document Import allows you to generate an existing PDF directly into your Report document. This feature can be used with all Report documents, saving you time and the effort of recreating pages from scratch.
Import a Document into a Report
Navigate to the Report you are using in ClearGov. This should be the document where you would like to import content.
- Select Add Page from within your document.
- In the Add Page Template window, choose the Document Import tab.
- Select Upload Your PDF to get started.
- From your computer, upload the PDF file.
Allow the system a few minutes to process your document.
Choose Pages to Import
Once the PDF has been processed:
- Select the pages you want to import by Table of Contents, page number, or a page number range.
- Select Add Page(s)
A success message will confirm the number of pages imported.
Review and Edit Imported Pages
Once you Document Import is complete, each imported page will show a purple icon to denote the page was created via AI Import.
You may edit your newly generated pages:
- Review the pages in your document
- Drag and drop pages to reorder them
- Make edits directly in the content blocks
If images appear pixelated, replace them by adding a new content block and uploading a high-resolution image (JPG, JPEG, or PNG).
