FAQ: What’s the difference between Closed Request and Finalizing in the Worksheet?

The Closed Request feature ends the Contributor request round. This icon will only appear when ALL accounts have been submitted and approved/denied. 

Once the "Closed Request" button has been selected, a "Closed Request" column will display in the worksheet table, and contributors will no longer be able to input requests. The In Progress column will return to its usual input mode, allowing editors to continue making changes and saving versions. 

The Finalize icon closes out the WHOLE budget. This creates one final version column in the worksheet, and the Projected and In Progress columns will no longer allow values to be entered.

Note: A finalized budget can be reopened.
