Let’s review the different statuses available for editors: Accepted, Needs Revision, Reopen Request, Denied, Deferred, and Request Complete.
Accepted
The Accepted status includes all cost and funding information for a request in a scenario, preventing further changes unless it is reopened.
Needs Revision
The Needs Revision status returns the request to the contributors, allowing them to make additional changes. Updating to this status will remove the request from the editor view until it is resubmitted by a contributor.
Denied
The Denied status indicates that the request will not be included and that there are no future plans to do so.
Note: A denied request no longer impacts the current fiscal year and is removed from the Dashboard, Reporting, and Scenario tabs.
Deferred
Projects that are deferred are similar to those that are denied, but with the intention of being addressed in a future fiscal year. These deferred requests are also excluded from the Dashboard, Reporting, and Scenario tabs.
Reopen Request
Accepted, Denied, and Deferred requests may be reopened as needed should new information become available. Reopening a request from any status puts it back to In Progress with the contributor team.
- From the Request Manager table, select the ellipses icon (...) from the right-hand Actions column to view more actions.
- Select Update Status.
- From the Status dropdown menu, select Reopen Request, either for Editors or for the Contributor team.
- Select Update Status.
Request Complete
Once an accepted request has been fulfilled, the status can be changed to Request Complete. This means the status of the request can no longer be changed or reopened.
- From the Request Manager table, select the ellipses icon (...) from the right-hand Actions column to view more actions.
- Select Update Status.
- From the Status dropdown menu, select Request Complete.
- Select Update Status.
Note: By default, the completed requests will not carry forward to the new fiscal year. However, when you create a new fiscal year, if you choose the ‘carry forward specific requests’ option, you can select requests that are completed.
