Statements - Governmental Funds Statement Settings

Statement Setting Pro Tips: 

• Use Common Settings in any report to set your rounding and decimal preferences for the entire report.
• Balance Sheet - To add additional fund columns to this statement, make sure to categorize your major funds first.
• Budgetary Comparison - Use Column Management to create as many change columns as you need. Make sure to delete any unneeded columns prior to adding new columns.
• Statement of rev, exp, and changes in fund balance - Reorder Major Fund columns in Column Management.
• Non-Major Governmental Funds Balance Sheet and Non-Major Governmental Funds Combining Statement of Revenues, Expenditures, and Changes in Fund Balances - 
  • Use Fund Categorization to set your funds to the Non-major Governmental Funds category to add those funds as their own individual columns in this report. 
  • Within Column Management, select Create Total Column to build sub-total columns. Choose which columns to include, name the total, and drag the column to reposition it in the report.
• Reconciliation of the balance sheet of government funds to the statement of net position and Reconciliation of statement of rev, exp, and changes in fund balances to the statement of activities - Simply maintenance by accessing Dynamic Figures to edit or change a version.
