If an Account is locked and unable to be edited in the Operational Worksheet, it could be a few possible reasons. Select the reason below to navigate directly there.
Editor Locking Accounts
The Editors may have chosen to lock some accounts, such as personnel accounts or itemizations, so contributors can only view values during an open request round.
Often the Editors will later unlock accounts or itemizations to enter updated values after an open request round is closed.
Request Round is in Progress, Requests Have Not Been Submitted
The request round may be in progress, and the requests have not been submitted yet.
- If you are an Editor and are unable to edit Accounts, the Contributor must submit the accounts first.
- If you are a co-collaborator, someone with the same accounts may have submitted the accounts or itemizations to the editors. You will not be able to edit those accounts or itemizations any further once the requests are submitted.
Note: You can check if an Account has been submitted yet in the “Status” column of the Operational Budgeting Worksheet.
Expand Account to View the Itemizations
Make sure you expand the Account if there are Itemizations underneath. If an Account has an Itemization, statistics must be entered in the Quantity and Unit Cost Columns to calculate the Account total. The Operational Budget requires statistics to be entered at the lowest level: Itemizations.
