FAQ: What is the Naming Convention for the automatic Itemizations imported from Capital and Personnel Budgeting? Can I change their names?

Personnel Budgeting Naming Convention 

• Filled Position ID - Type of Expense - Job Title
  • 01245 - Wages - Firefighter
  • 34516 - Additional Pay - Finance Director 

Capital Budgeting Naming Convention 

• Name of the Request – Type of financial panel - Category from that financial panel type
  • New Bike Path - Capital Costs - Construction
  • Highway Road Repairs - Funding Sources - Grants 

Itemization Name Changes 

• Imported - Itemization Names cannot be changed outside of the naming convention for the imported itemizations from Capital or Personnel.
• Manually Created - Itemizations that have been newly created manually in the Worksheet can have their names changed with the pencil. Name changes are only available until the version is saved or the itemization has been approved in the worksheet.
