This article is intended for: Editors of a Digital Budget Book or CIP Document.
Use this article after: your document has been created and you wish to modify the Capital Project Details that drive how your capital requests display in the document.
Note: You can click on any image below to zoom in.
In the Capital Projects tab of the overall document Settings, you can control the particular details you want to display in your CIP document or Digital Budget Book document (if you choose to sync it with your Capital Budget).
Access these settings by navigating to the document settings using the button in the upper right corner of the document. In document settings, navigate to the Capital Projects tab.
Across the top of the Capital Projects settings page are three sub-tabs: Individual Project Type Details, Individual Project Pages, and Project Summary Pages. Select the option below to navigate directly to that section of the article.
Individual Project Type Details
Individual Project Type Details
For each capital project type you can control which information you'd like to display across the same project type.
The project types displayed correspond directly with the Request Forms created in your Capital Budget (e.g. Building and Facilities, Computer Software, Other Equipment etc.). Learn about Capital Budgeting Forms here.
Drill into the individual project type (e.g. Buildings and Facilities) by selecting the arrows, then toggle off what you do not want to display in the document for each project type section using the hide and show toggles.
The following settings can be found in each section:
-

Individual Project Pages
Each individual capital project detail can be individually controlled. This will override any display changes at the project type level.
Pro-Tip: Individual projects can have settings that differ from the default ‘Project Types’ settings. Changes made to your individual project settings won’t be affected by updates to ‘Project Types’ settings. Look for the purple tag icon to the left of the show/hide toggle to quickly see which unique settings have been applied.
Drill into the individual project by selecting the arrows, then toggle off what you do not want to display in the document for each project detail section using the hide and show toggles.
