Global Table Configurations, found in the Digital Budget Book Settings, are your powerful tool for ensuring uniformity and consistency across all Financial Schedule Tables by allowing you to apply updates globally from one central location. This saves you time and keeps your data presentation professional.
Financial Schedule Table Configurations
Note: Saving changes in Table Configurations will instantly update the Universal Settings for all Financial Pages. If you have previously made custom updates to individual pages, they will remain untouched only if they are detached from Universal Settings. You can still update Universal Settings, but remember that any new changes made here will override those previous universal settings.
- Select Settings in the upper right corner of the Digital Budget Book.

Select the Table Configurations section.
General Tab
- Toggle on Expand Statements by default if you wish for the table to display expanded on the document page.
- Display suppressed rows will allow you to hide rows in the financial schedule tables that contain only zero-dollar values across all columns.
- Select the Save Changes button to confirm changes.
Value Formatting Tab
- Toggle on or off Display with $ values if you do not wish to show a dollar sign with your financial figures. Dollar signs will display with all values by default.
- Choose to display Currency and Percentage Decimal Places with 0, 1, or 2 decimals.
- Choose how to Display empty values as $0.00, blank values, or dashes.
- Select the Save Changes button to confirm changes.
Table Presentation Tab
- Toggle on Display Horizontal Gridlines to display lines between each row of the table
- Toggle on Display Vertical Gridlines to display lines between each column of the table
- Select Alternating Row and Column Coloring to show color contrast between rows and columns on the table. Toggle on Apply row color to totals and subtotals to highlight these summary values.
- Select Header Formatting for column alignment.

Select the Save Changes button to confirm changes.
Column Configuration
- Drag and drop columns in the order you would like to display them.
- Select the Column Menu to select or deselect columns in the table.
- Select the +Add Change Column icon to include additional change columns or a combined amount column.
- Select Dimensions to apply the column settings to all financial pages of those types.
- Select the Save Changes button to confirm changes.
Note: When looking to display itemization and account details go to your dimension financial pages in Settings. Then from the Universal tab, expand the dimension content block you wish to configure the financial schedule table from to make those changes.
Pro Tip: Utilize the Budget Version Naming tool in Settings to rename version columns in your financial table.
