There are two ways to a version may have been added directly into the Financials tool. Select the option below to navigate directly to it.
Data Team
As the client, you provide the Data team with files that include account numbers, account descriptions, and budget/actual numbers. You may have provided this information to your Implementation Manager as you are onboarding or through the Data Request Form if you are fully onboarded. The data team then uploads, maps, and manages the versions that were established from the information you provided. This entails naming versions, ordering versions, and selecting defaults. These versions are “launched” and reflected in your ClearGov database.
Self-Serve Data
Conversely, an administrator could have uploaded or updated a version through the self-serve options in the Financials Tool.
Pro Tip: If you are utilizing Operational Budgeting for your fiscal year budgeting process, think of the versions found in the Financials Tool as historical versions that can be displayed in the ClearGov modules.
