Use this article after: you have begun creating your report and you wish to automate specific pieces using report variables.

Report Variables allow you to add images or text that can be reused throughout your report.
First, navigate to your preferred report within the Disclosure Studio. To add report variables, select the Gear icon in the top right-hand corner of ClearGov.
- From the Settings modal select the Variables option located under the Report header.
- Then select the +New Variable button.
- Name your variable and choose the Type of variable you want to utilize within your report
- If you choose the Text type, the field for the Value will then display for you to enter alphanumerical description.
- If you choose the Image type, the field will transform to allow you to upload an image file.
- Note: The file may be up to 10MB.
Once you're ready, select the Save button.
To leave the Settings modal, select the X in the top right-hand corner of the Close button in the bottom right-hand corner.
