Maybe in your first year’s budget book, you decided to edit charts, tables, and content blocks separately on each page. Now, in the next fiscal year, you are looking to revert to universal settings to make bulk changes to the content on your financial pages. This option will update the configurations for the selected pages back to the universal settings configuration, which includes financial schedule configurations, chart type configurations and visibility of sections.
You can revert all of your pages to use universal settings, or on a page-by-page basis. Select the appropriate link, below, to navigate directly to that section of the article.
Revert All Pages to Universal Settings
- To revert, navigate to Settings within your budget book.
- Select the Financial Page type (Fund Summary, Department, Object, etc.) in the settings menu.
- Now select the Individual Page Settings sub-tab. You will notice that any page with a tag icon is treated as having unique settings.
- Select the Revert All Pages to Universal Settings button to remove the tag icon from all pages.
- In the “Revert Pages to Universal Settings?” confirmation pop-up message, select the Revert button.
Now you are ready to apply universal settings!
Revert a Single Page to Universal Settings
- To revert, navigate to Settings within your budget book.
- Select the Financial Page type (Fund Summary, Department, Object, etc.) in the settings menu.
- Now select the Individual Page Settings sub-tab. You will notice that any page with a tag icon is treated as having unique settings.
- Select the drop-down menu under the sub-tabs and select the specific page you want to revert.
- Select the Revert Page to Universal Settings button.
- In the “Revert Page to Universal Settings?” confirmation pop-up message, select the Revert button.
Now you are ready to apply universal settings!
