Review Statement Mapping and Formulas
- Each Data Model will have Local Rules, Global Rules, Shared Rules (if enabled). Depending on the model, these will hold the specific mapping needed to ensure the account lines end up in the correct sections of the table.
- Local Rules are typically tied to specific periods and account or object codes. These should be adjusted or created to help map unmapped accounts to lines on the financial statements.
- Note: Local rules are typically set up within the Statements data models, Governmental Funds, Proprietary Funds, Fiduciary Funds, and Reconciliation to the Government-Wide.
- Global Rules and Shared Rules are set up to ensure the data model looks at the correct Reporting Fund Code. These are set up during Implementation and should not be adjusted.
- Note: if Shared Rules is not activated, please continue to use the Fund Mapping File.
- Formulas are built within the data model to perform custom calculations within the statement.
- Note: These are typically set up within implementation and if needed, additional formulas can be set up by our Support Team on your behalf.
- Local Rules are typically tied to specific periods and account or object codes. These should be adjusted or created to help map unmapped accounts to lines on the financial statements.
