Utilize paragraph formatting tools like alignment, bullets, numerical list, indents and text spacing as needed throughout your text.
- Tip: Create a second level of a bulleted list by using the Tab key. The bullets and numbering will change depending on the level. Numbered lists will have the corresponding number on the first level and an alphabetic letter for the second; however, different templates can have different list set ups based on the original formatting used in implementation. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Why do my locked text blocks not have as many formatting options?
A: These blocks are meant to be a placeholder for a specific template and will take on much of the formatting from the template itself.
Q: Why does some formatting disappear when I copy and paste text from a Word document?
A: This can happen because Word formatting and the Disclosure Studio editor don’t necessarily support the same formatting options.
You may need to correct some formatting after pasting, such as "bold text" in some cases. However, other formatting, such as "font size and font family", is controlled by the design template and will automatically be adjusted for the print/PDF version.
We recommend checking the preview screen on the right to see how the entire report will look in the final PDF.
