Below, you will learn how to: Take action on submitted personnel requests
Editing Submitted Personnel Requests
- Signed in under Editor-level permissions, navigate to the Request Manager tab of the appropriate personnel budget.
- Select the sub-tab called Requests
- As an Editor, you will see any Submitted Personnel Requests in this table with a status of Pending.
- Select the Pencil next to any Request to edit any information.
Approve Submitted Personnel Requests
Approve Submitted Position Requests to turn them into a Vacant Position.
How to Approve a Submitted Position Request and turn it into a Vacant Position:
- Navigate to Personnel Budgeting and open up your active Personnel Budget.
- Navigate to the Request Manager Tab.
- Select the checkbox next to the Submitted Position Request you want to approve.
- Select Approve in the upper left corner of the Requests Table.
Note: The Approve button will appear after you click the checkbox.

Including New Position Requests in Scenarios
- Navigate to the Scenario tab of Personnel Budgeting. Note: To create a Scenario, you must add at least one Employee to the Positions Tab.
- Select an existing Scenario or create a new one.
- Navigate to the New Position Request tab of the Scenario.
- Toggle on the toggle to include that Personnel Request in your Scenario.
- Make any percentage adjustments to their calculated wages. Note that wages are pro-rated depending on Start Date.
Note: We will bring over all Requested Positions into the Scenario. Positions with a red warning icon are Position Requests that are incomplete. Complete the request in the Request Manager if you would like to include it in the Scenario.
