Editing a User in User Management
Manage Existing Users
From the User Management Dashboard, there are several options available to help you manage users.
-
Editing User Information - To edit a user's information, select the Edit User icon from the Action Menu next to the user's information. You can edit the user’s name, email, title, role, and password from this screen.
- Pro Tip: If the user is unable to reset their own password, you can enter a new password here.
- Lastly, you manage which project Subscriptions the user will be notified about. For additional information, see our training article: Transparency Comment Notifications
- Deleting a User - To delete a user, select the trash can icon Delete User from the action menu next to the user you wish to delete. Then, confirm or cancel the action. Note: Once deleted, the user cannot be restored; you will need to create a new account. Deleting a user will also remove them from all associated applications. Any unsubmitted operational or capital budgeting requests will be lost.
- Settings - Select the Settings icon if you want to toggle on the Require password reset after 120 days feature.
- Export - The export button will allow you to be able to download a CSV file of all users and their details.
Pro Tip: Filter in the search box of the Last Login column to check when a user last logged in. Note that the Last login data occasionally can be reset when ClearGov does a large product update release.
