Your Transparency Center includes optional functionality for visitors to submit a comment. Below, we’ll walk through exactly what this looks like, and how to enable or disable visitor comments.
Below, you will learn:
- How visitors leave comments
- How to enable or disable visitor comments
Note: You can click on any image below to zoom in.
How Visitors Leave Comments
If the functionality is enabled, visitors can leave comments by scrolling to the bottom of any page on your Transparency Center and entering text in the Join The Conversation panel.
Note: The comment is not automatically posted to your Transparency Center (unlike comments on social media). Instead, an email notification is sent to the ClearGov user(s) within your organization that have been designated to review and take action on comments.
How to Enable or Disable Visitor Comments
To enable or disable visitor comments, follow these steps:
- From the navigation sidebar, navigate to Engage > Transparency
- Select the Comments tile
-
Toggle the button to ON to enable visitors to leave comments, or OFF to remove the Join The Conversation panel from your Transparency Center pages.
