The ClearGov Projects feature was designed to quickly create and publish project pages that not only shine a spotlight on capital development but also help spread the word by enabling visitors to subscribe to email updates. The template-driven page takes only minutes to populate and post and helps organizations share project timelines, documents, budgets, and more in one centralized location.
Below, you will learn how to:
- Enable Project pages in Transparency
- Make a project visible to the public
- Share projects with constituents and stakeholders

Enable Project Pages in Transparency
The first step in publishing your projects is to ensure Project pages are enabled in your Transparency Center.
- From the navigation sidebar, navigate to Engage > Transparency.
- Select Pages.

Make sure the toggle next to Projects is toggled to YES.
Make Transparency Projects Visible to the Public
Next, follow these steps to make your project(s) visible on your Transparency Center, Capital Improvement Page, or Capital Project Tracking Public Projects Page.
Transparency Center
You can push capital requests from the Capital Budgeting module to Transparency Projects, or create new projects directly from inside of Transparency. Once the project has been created, follow these steps to publish it.
- From the navigation sidebar, navigate to Engage > Transparency.
- Select Projects.
- For the project, you wish to publish, toggle the Available to Public toggle to YES.
To view projects on your Transparency Center, select your name in the upper right corner of your ClearGov Homepage, and then select "View [Your Organization Name] Page" and then the Projects page.
Capital Improvement Plan Website
Projects made available to the public in Transparency will automatically display in your Capital Improvement Plan Website. Inside of Transparency > Projects, select the CIP Website button to view projects by location.
Capital Project Tracking Public Projects Page
If you plan on publishing and displaying projects that were added to and customized in your Capital Project Tracker, you’ll need to enable the Public Project Pages setting in Transparency. Share Your Projects
Projects can be shared in a couple of ways. Head to the project page on your Transparency Center or CIP Website and copy the URL in the web browser’s address bar to quickly share that link with someone, or hyperlink to your external website to link directly to your project(s).
In Transparency > Projects you can also select the Share icon to share your projects on social media, or by Embed Code.
