Highlights of the May 23, 2020 product release include:
- Insights Solution: Your transparency profile will be updated in the coming weeks so visitors have the option to view revenues and expenditures by object (e.g. salaries) or by department (e.g. Public Safety)*
- Insights Solution: ClearGov Mapping is now based on a national categorization structure that is more in line with U.S. Census Bureau and state categorizations. This update will improve benchmarking with communities in other states, and will allow more consistent benchmarking overall.
- Insights Solution: ClearGov Mapping categories enable more granular visibility into both revenue sources and expenditures. For example, Public Works has been divided into three top-level groupings: Transportation, Physical Environment (water, sewer, sanitation, etc.) and Other Public Works.
- Budgets Solution: Revenue and expenditures have their own tabs on the Budgets main page to make switching between the two easier
- Budgets Solution: You are now able to budget by department (e.g. Public Safety) or object (e.g. salaries)*
* If the data we have for your municipality or school district includes consistent object-level detail.
