Highlights of the August 6, 2020 product release include:
- Capital Request Solution: The ‘Project Budget’ panel has been split into ‘Capital Costs’ and Operational Costs’ panels to help separate one time costs versus ongoing costs such as annual maintenance. New ‘Operating Revenue’ and ‘Cost Savings’ panels have been added to highlight how the project could create ongoing revenue and/or save money. The data entered in these new panels will also update the Capital Request dashboard, Capital Request details page, and Digital Budget Book One-Year & Multi-Year Capital Improvement pages.
- Forecasting Solution: New enhancements to our platform have been made that significantly speed-up the forecast generation process. Additionally, users can now click ‘Show Advanced Settings’ to reveal options to change the algorithm type/settings.
- Budgeting Solution: Budget creators now have the ability to rename Requested columns in the budget builder tool. Users can also now hide 'Status' columns using the 'Customize' button. If a user hides a ‘Requested’ column, then the associated status column will be hidden with it.
- Across Applications: Two new options have been added to maps that allow the user to either ‘Drop A Marker’ or ‘Draw Area’. These updates help users easily highlight a road, section of town, or certain location they’d like the pinpoint when creating a map for a project or capital request.
- Across Applications: Significant enhancements have been made to the text editor within custom panels across the ClearGov platform.
- Accessibility Checker: There is now a built-in accessibility checker that lets you inspect the accessibility level of your content in the panel and immediately help you solve any issues that are found. Simply add content to the editor, click the ‘Accessibility Checker’ icon to perform the check, and follow the prompts to make necessary changes.
- Spell & Grammar Checker: The text editor now features a spelling and grammar checking tool that provides instant proofreading.
