ClearGov offers several tools to help you further explore your data in the ClearGov Transparency solution or in an exportable file. Select one below to navigate directly to it.
Financials Tool
Navigate to the Financials Tool in the ClearGov navigation sidebar to view the Financials Worksheet.
The Financials Worksheet displays all on-boarded data that ClearGov has to present on your Transparency Center.
- Customize the Columns by selecting the Columns Menu.
- Drag and drop the informational columns to set Row Groups and organize the rows of the table.
- Select Export to export a report of the Financials Worksheet to Excel.
Autogenerated Financial Charts and Graphics
Customize financial information to display on your public transparency profile. Determine which revenue and/or expenditure categories to include. Determine whether to display line item detail and allow downloading of financial information by constituents. From Transparency Profile, select download financials to export a .csv with all aforementioned data.
Increase fiscal transparency and make it easy for your constituents to download your financial data.
Custom Charts
Create custom charts using financial data you've previously imported into ClearGov or custom data of any type.
- Create Pie, Trending, Gauge, or Bar charts. Customize their appearance with legends, labels, colors, and styles. Add goals for trending, bar, and gauge charts.
Custom charts can be downloaded for use elsewhere or embedded into Budget Books, transparency pages, department pages, and project pages. Use them to visually convey quantitative data about your municipality.

Project Tracking
Track projected and actual expenditures by type and by period. Include information about funding sources and expenditures over time. Track the current project phase and the projected timeline against current updates.
Increase community engagement in capital works projects. Decrease calls to your department by making information easily accessible for all.
