Create Longevity Additional Pay by selecting the “Milestone” calculation models.
- Milestone - Flat Amount Per Time Period
- Milestone - Percentage of Total Wages
The Milestone calculation models are calculated automatically per Employee’s years of service. Years of Service are calculated based on each Employee’s uploaded Start Date or Service Time Start Date.
- Start Date - How long has that employee been in the current position?
- Note: If you are manually adding a new Employee, select the year at the top of the calendar to select start dates more than 10 years ago.
- Service Time Start Date - An optional field that would be used if you want to honor the time that an Employee has worked for the municipality before their current role.
Example: Joe Shmoe's Start Date for the position is 2023 but their Service Time Start Date is 2013 and you want to honor those ten years of service.
